Sex life after Antidepressants?
Question:
I'm 22 years old and was put on Paxil at the age of 15. They thought I was depressed (long story) and then at 21 switched to Prozac (for another unrealted reason)
Anyhow, been off all antidepressants for 3 months now and I knew that my lack of sex drive (like its always been zero!) was due to the paxil and prozac. But shouldn't I be getting one by now? Or is it because its been in my body for so long that it might take longer?
I just want to experiance a sex drive and MAYBE have an orgasm!!

wow, the fact that you were on the ad's for so long probably makes a difference. however, i have been on multiple ad's on and off for years for chronic depression. when i was taking them and suffered a depressed sex drive, they added welbutrin. i wish i could tell you that it might help now, but i'm not sure.. best bet, call the last dr. that had you an the meds... also i will say that it can take up to 6 mos. for something to get out of your system.... GL!!!
it is just starting to wash out of your system , you will need lots of practice with a vibrator
