Antidepressant/anti-anxie... meds that WON'T make me gain weight?

Question: I've been fighting depression and OCD for the entirety of my adolescence and I can't deal with it anymore.. I was put on various dosages of zoloft, wellbutrin, depekote, abilify, and klonipin among other drugs that I can't remember right now and I didn't care for them much but I was told there was a noticeable change in my behavior. I've been off everything for about a year now though and I think I am ready to start something, this time for me and not because I'm being forced into it.

However, I also have some big eating issues so taking anything that will cause weight gain is basically a recipe for a complete nervous breakdown. Does anyone have any suggestions for effective antidepressant or antianxiety meds that won't make me fat?

the readers may not know that the above meds do make you gain weight due to a change in metabolism, not junk food. Ask your doctor if any of the needed meds could be changed to a prescription that does not make you gain weight. A pharmicist may be helpful also. Take a list of your meds and ask what substitutes are available, and ask Dr to change you to those.
