How do I get rid of stress?


Question:
About six months ago sh*t hapened and it was severe. Really crazy stuff happened that I won't go into details. I was in shock for a week. I am a little better now, but the keyword is a"little". I am not a man I used to be. I am not longer outgoing funny type of dude people used to know. I don't hang out anywhere now. I just sit in my house, read and wait for my next semester in college do nothing and nothing happens. Seriously though how can I become a dude I used to be. Girls are no longer attracted to me. It's like I am a walking shadow of what I used to be. How do I reverse it. It's been 6 f**** months.

Well you could take vitamins. Like B complex. By nature made thats what I take and Vitamin C along with it. You could develop a regular work out schedule, even something as simple as walking each day. Try finding a church and getting involved. Sometimes the best way to get over your problems is to help someone else. And some things only heal with time. I have had my share of problems and these are some of the things I did. I hope this helps.

Im not sure if there is anything you can do, you can see a specialist (a shrink) that may help you work out your problems.
I also believe in the indominable spirit of man to overcome any tragedy that life may throw at us. But its got to be a concious decision on your part to get better, to not let something that happend in the past to affect you so terriblely. It comes from strength that i believe everyone has in their minds and in their hearts.

i am very stressed out too....it led to anxiety...and that sucks. what i reccomend is trying yoga or massage or accupuncture. somthing like that can make a huge differene and its really good for your esteem and 'soul'. good luck.
Go to your doctor and get some meds for your depression. You may need to go and talk to a counselor also. I am really sorry that you are going through so much. I know how you feel. Have you ever thought of going to church? It really may help.
