After all, being out of contact with physical reality is by definition a rather significant mental illness. It would seem a kindness to medicate liberals in an attempt to at least partially repair their confused minds, and to possibly also reeducate them as much as possible in special schools akin to those for other mentally challenged individuals.

Wherever did you get the idea that liberalism is a treatable mental illness? Liberalism is a choice. A conscious choice to stand beside marxism and genocide..and to willfully engage in acts of evil. You can't treat that. There is no way to make them better. And blurring the line between this and mental illness does a harsh disservice to the mentally ill. Liberalism is not an affliction. It's a choice.

If you want an effective institution to deal with liberalism, might I suggest prison. That's where society sends people who willfully commit evil acts. It also puts them in a controlled environment where they can't hurt anyone anymore. Dealing with the situation this way is simply a matter of enforcing our laws. Many liberals commit overt acts of treason and sedition. Others give aid and comfort to terrorists or help them commit terrorism. Still others commit sabotage on our nation, at the behest of hostile foriegn powers. All these people, including many members of the democratic party, are guilty of serious crimes with significant prison time. Round them up and prosecute them.

Not only will this get them off the streets but it will act as a serious deterant. If liberals know that, while it is OK to spout off nonsense, preferably confined to their own home, overt criminal acts will be severely punished, they will stop doing these things and behave themselves.

I am neither a Lib or a Con but obviously the only one needing mental treatment is the questioner. It seems both extremes of the political divide are delusional. The middle ground of rational thought is lacking in most of our elected officials.

Do you realize that if we didn't have liberals we wouldn't have Rush Limbaugh. Where did you think his material comes from.

I have to go along with you, although shooting them doesn't sound too bad either, and it's a lot cheaper.
