I've never heard of that..

Other Answers:
no, it won't give you a headache
no. not in a thousand years, unless it is below freezing outside, then most people would not go outside with wet hair.but you never know.
Not likely unless you braided your hair wet and, as it dries, it tightens. Then release your hair from the braids, fluff it up, and go on your way headache free.

Tension Headaches

Cause

The cause of tension headaches is not clear. Experts believe there may be more than one factor that causes a tension headache. In the past, doctors believed that tension or spasms of the muscles of the neck, face, jaw, head, or scalp played a role in causing these headaches. Now they think a change in brain chemistry may also contribute to the development of a tension headache. "

If over the counter medication does not work, and you are away from people and in a darkenned room, you probably really need a doctor.
I do it all the time cuz I do not believe in using a dryer on my hair (causes too much damage) I have done this all my life and it's never caused me a headache even in the dead of winter and my hair freezes solid or heat of summer.
