If they legalize or consider the following as a mental illness how would it affect society?

molestation
murder
physically or emotionally abusive

Answers:
If they considered the following mental illnesses solely...the people convicted would serve time in a mental hospital instead of a jail (mental hospitals have lower security)...I personally think that a lot of the people that committ these crimes have mental issues but I do not think that's an excuse for committing a crime........for instance, if you accidentally fall asleep at the wheel and hit a pedestrian and kill them you had no intention of committing the crime because of your mental state but you will still be punished for the crime you committed and I do not feel it is any different with these types of crimes espeically since they are much more violent......I think that these crimes should NOT be legalized and people that are convicted of these crimes should go to the jail not a mental hospital where they can easily sneak out or "pretend" to be cured and then be released into society to committ the crime again...

I would have to hope God would forgive me for my suicide.
