what are the reasons for some people being afraid of success?(i really need ur hlp)?

Question:

Answers:
When you are successful, more is expected from you. If you are unsure of your capabilities, or are insecure about your ability to adapt or fulfill the expectations of other people, you may limit your success because you don't want to be overwhelmed by the expectations of others.

Often this is seen in adults who had unrealistic expectations placed on them in childhood by caregivers who were either ignorant about normal child development, or who were trying to get their children to perform to gratify their egos. The child thinks, "If I succeed at this, then they will love me, but they will expect more from me, and I'm not sure if I can keep up. If I mess it up at least I know what to expect."

Other Answers:
for one success brings change and people are afraid of change. Change can effect may things in a persons life.
This may sound wacky, but I think people who really fear, may have a blood sugar imbalance called hypoglycemia. Anything that causes an increase in blood sugar such as excitement then cause a corresponding crash in blood sugar which can cause all sorts of symptoms including nausea, trembling, and other negative feelings. If excitement and happiness gets followed by feeling not good, then the anticipation of the not good feelings (fear) soon get patterned.
