I wish, but unfortunately sweetie, I don't think so.
As a minor, you can not commit your parent, however, you can turn them in and they will be court ordered to go through treatment in many cases.
Yes you can. At least you can down here. I work for a state hospital that has a drug and alcohol dependency unit. You go and get a court order for them to be committed. Try your state facility for one.
have a chat with your teachers and counslers at your school they may be able to lead you in the right direction but be carefull you can also be taken away from your parents by the child protection angency
Not as a minor to my knowledge - but the state can do it FOR you if they see evidence to do so...but as an adult you can do it on your own (in PA called a "302" commital)...but know that (in PA anyway) it's only going to hold them for 3 days...after that they normally have the option to leave treatment (or remain in it) on their own.
you can not commit anyone to alcohol and drug treatment. These programs are completely voluntary. However, if your parent becomes suicidal you may commit them to a psychiatric hospital
