This is a very common anxiety. Try some short term therapy with someone that specializes in treating anxiety disorders. If you think listening to music helps then do it. Also, go to social gatherings with someone that you trust and expose yourself a little at a time to the crowds. Join a group like Toastmasters where people have to get up in front of groups and make toasts. Really though use what works for you. Try therapy, it couldn't hurt and know that again many, many people have social anxiety.Good Luck!!! :0)
Listening to music ALONE will probably not help you as much as getting OUT and mingling with other people. :)
But I guess it can't hurt. ;)
Music in general will give you a whole new mindset. Go for a walk. Breath the fresh air. If you wanna listen to some music...throw in some Enigma. =)
