does not sleeping for 3 days raise your dopeamine level?

Question:

Answers:
It's possible, although based on a quick look through some of the literature on the subject, it looks like has more of an effect on dopamine receptors than dopamine itself. Several studies have found that sleep deprivation increases the numbers of certain types of dopamine receptors, which would have a similar neurological effect to increasing the actual dopamine level. When you sleep, the levels of catacholamines (which includes dopamine) decrease, so dopamine levels are higher when you're awake than when you're asleep, but sleep deprivation doesn't necessarily make those levels higher than they would be when you're awake but not sleep deprived. So sleep deprivation probably increases the activity of dopaminergic pathways, but doesn't necessarily change the level of dopamine itself.

Incidentally, one of the previous answers mentioned that you could get mono from not sleeping. Mono caused by a virus that's spread through contact with bodily fluids (including saliva) from an infected person. It's not caused by sleep deprivation. No matter how long you go without sleep, it's not going to give you mono.
I dunno, but it might make you pretty dopey
