depression?

I can understand what you're going through. I've just been diagnosed with depression and I don't ever want to get out of my room or do anything. It doesn't mean that you are a weak or lazy person. My doctor started me on zoloft. Zoloft is an antidepressant medication in one of the classes called SSRI's (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors). You have a hormone produced in your brain called serotonin that gets used and thrown away. Well, because many depressed people don't make enough serotonin, we use SSRI's which makes it so we don't throw that serotonin away and instead we reuse it. But if you've really been that depressed for that long I would talk to your doctor about starting you on an antidepressant.
Negativity is one of the things that keep us depressed. Also, hormonal imbalances can do the same.
Everything you have said in your sentence has revealed to me that all you think and say is negative. Start thinking positive. Look in the mirror and find one positive thing about yourself. One positive thing about your life. There are some even if you don't think so. And start dwelling on those things. Also, consider asking the doctor to put you on meds if you are not already and if you are on them ask him to change them. They may not be effective.
