What is your best advice for dealing with unreasonable & demanding clients?

Question:
Dropping them is not an option, although I would like it to be. Requesting to be moved from this contract with the client is also not an option with my boss. It is more stress than it is worth but right now I just need some serious answers. THANK YOU!

(P.S. There should be a "work" category in youqa.com under people's respective fields. Hey, we all get by with a little help from our friends!!)

Answers:
Adress the demands by priority. State that is how you will be handling their issues in order to "serve them best".

I suggest writing down the demands and speak with them about each until the order in which they will be handled is agreed upon. This lets them know you are focusing on their issues and not leaving anything out which in turn will make them calmer clients.

Other Answers:
You are being paid for a job.
You do your best and explain the rest.
Do not retaliate, ever.

This will eventually end.
You have to have a company policy for your buisness-Number 1-Next what type of buisness is it please and I think people can answer you better.
Put yourself in their place and try and see how they are comprehending the way you are handling their project. It may just plain misunderstanding of how you are accomplishing things.
