I had mentioned in previous entries that I almost died in a car accident a few years ago. Yes it was one of the most stressfull days of my life, that is untill my mind was set at ease by a lady I had never seen before.
First a little background on the accident. There were 4 of us college kids taking a break from studies to head up to this grocery store in the foothills of the local chain of mountians. The reason we were going there was because this store had really low priced groceries, and a snack bar that you could get hamburgers for 15 cents each. Actually the food there was pretty good, and it was all cheep because they dealt mostly in volume. The place was always packed to the gills with local "mountian-folk" and various other bargian hunters. So, we were traveling on this two lane country road in an older jeep suv. The person driving was this short little bastard, that always felt the need to show off. I was sitting in the back passingers side seat with my good friend Adreine sitting in the back drivers side seat. The road was not meant to be traveled as swiftly as we were going, so I told the driver to slow the hell down before he killed us all. Just after the last word of that sentence came out of my mouth the road turned left, and we could not make the bend and literally flew off of the road going 80 mph. We could have just kept going into this open field, but we did not. We smacked into a rather large tree still traveling at 80mph. The force of the impact was so great that the solid steel front bumper flew off of the vehicle and wrapped around the tree with the two ends of the bumper ending up touching each other just like one of those "slap-braclets" that kids play with. The rest of the jeep pretty much compacted like an old tin can. The V-8 engine block was cracked compleatly in half, the front seat ended up in the engine compartment, and the back seat ended up where the front seat should have been. The few seconds after the impact were the most scary that I have ever experienced. The sheer terror of not knowing if you were dead or alive is a feeling I would not wish on even my worst enimie. It took me a few seconds to actually realize I had not been killed, but I was trapped in this twisted mass of metel with the smell of burning oil hanging heavy in the air from when the engine was cracked. To this day, whenever I smell the scent of burning oil, or skidding rubber on the roadway I get sick to my stomach. As we were sitting there trapped in the wreckage we were able to find that we all had survived the crash, but we were all a bloody mass of broken bones. All of the sudden a lady comes up to the side of the wreck. I could barely see her through all of the bent steel. She said Is anybody alive in there? I told her that we all were, but we did not know for how long. Then she asked is there anything I can do? I asked if she had any water because I had a mouth full of debris from inside the jeep. She said all she had was a thermous of coffee. I did not really like coffee, but I needed to clear out my mouth because it was tough to breathe with all that crap in there. I see a hand "snake-in" to me through all of the wreckage. I took a mouthfull of the coffee swished it around and spit it, and the debris out. As I did this I splashed coffee all over the front of my shirt. Then the hand came back in to get the cup, but before she grabbed it, she took hold of my hand. Then she said "Don't worry, it is not your time, everything will be fine" then she pulled her hand away. I had this feeling of calm come over me, when all of the sudden I heard the siren of the rescue people. It took a good while for the EMS workers to cut away the wreckage to finally get to us. I was making small talk with a fireman that was trying to extricate us. I asked where the lady with the thermous was, I wanted to thank her. He looked at me and said they were the first ones on the scene, when they rolled up, there was no woman around. I thought I was just immagining the entire thing untill the fireman asked "where you holding a coffee before the wreck?" I told him no, I never drank coffee, I did not care for it. He said "thats strange, your shirt is covered with coffee."
Nobody ever saw the nice lady that gave me a drink when I needed it, and nobody was drinking coffee in the car before the accident. Add all of that to the feeling of calm that I felt even though I had many broken bones, and I just know that I indeed got to meet my guardian angel on that otherwise terrible day.
I try to tell this story to as many people as I can. I really do believe in angels.

Yes I believe in guardian angels, always feel protected by them, there have been many situations in my life where I know a guardian angel has watched over me and given me protection, every time I have the feeling of protection I always, always say thank you for their help, if you see a white feather pick it up and make a wish and blow it back to the angels and hopefully your wish will come true.

You seem to know about this sort of thing. Are we to do something in return? I didn't know that. I do believe that I've got an ga
Yes I do, and funnily enough, the MORE I believe, the more to seems to be so! LISTEN and you will hear, NOT voices in the head! Like you are think to yourself? In situations where there is danger, they warn you, LISTEN. If you loose something, LISTEN, they or he or she will guide you to it, just ask, then LISTEN = try it and see.
