it's like you have to trust yourself before you trust others. Loving yourself isn't necessarily egotistical, it just depends on how far you take it.
BULL BULL BULL..IF SOMEONE LOVES YOU YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY LOVE YOURSELF it should probably say--- be happy with yourself- and no=it is not egotistical to love your self.. so that you are free to love
It is true, and you can learn to love yourself by being a good person. You are the only one who will always be with you, so not egotistical.
yes its true no it is not but if u cant accept yourself for who you are believe in yourself and know who you are how do u expect someone else to?
Egotistical means that you think you are better than anybody else. You can love yourself even though you have faults, because you know that everybody has faults, and you are no less than anyone else. most people love themselves only
yea its true but the person u fall n love with teahes u 2 love urself n some clues thoughout their life and relationship so u take the knowldge threw ur life and each relationship and u'll coninye 2 learn and get smarter.
I think it means that you care about who you are as a person, and have some respect for yourself. But not selfish, which is what I think of when I hear egotistical. You can care about yourself without being self centered. It just means you care about yourself AND other people in your life.
It's like helping yourself before you can help others. You can't be any good to someone else if you fall apart yourself. And if you have no respect for yourself how can you expect anyone else to?
to love yourself you have to accept who you are and recognize your good and bad points. know what you're willing to settle for in life. what is acceptable and unacceptable. Have good morals and know you are a good person who deserves to be treated right and demand that from anyone you're with. it's about accepting yourself for who you are without judgment..this allows the capacity to love others unconditionally - we can accept others without judgments and open ourselves to others to be loved without egos getting in the way
