My friend was on lithium. It made her feel better but there were some terrible side effects. # 1 all her hair fell out (after only 3 weeks!) #2 is lithium builds up your system. She almost poisoned herself and came close to dying so follow the directions EXACTLY as prescribed

i just started it 3 weeks ago. i have had to urinate a lot more and my ankles swell a little. i dnt feel any better but the doc raised my dosage so i am glad. Ive been taking it for over a year and all it has done is helped me with Biplolar 1.just be vary careful you take correctly, there is a fine line between correct dosage and unsafe levels
