whats the best way to go about getting some Ritalin? Online?

Question:
I have been diagnosed with ADHD a long time ago. i took Ritalin as a child and know it helped me focus greatly. I find myself wondering from time to time and i need to focus better now!

Answers:
Contact your doctor about it. Depending on your doctor you may need proof that you have ADHD. If that is the case you will need to contact who ever first diagnosed you with ADHD and/ or who first prescribed it for you.
Also, just because the amount you took as a kid worked, does not mean it will work the same as an adult.
I was diagnosed at 16 took ritalin until I was 21 and stopped. I too recently realized that being on it again would benefit me greatly. I spoke to my doctor and he prescribed me some. It was that simple.
But it may not be that simple for you. And the ONLY legal way to obtain a prescritption medication, particularly a controlled one like ritalin is with a dr. prescription. It may be annoying but it is the safer, legal way to go about. There are more options availble out now and you may find one that works better.
Good luck

Other Answers:
If you have any friends with kids that take Ritalin, see if you can obtain one tablet. If it wires you up, you've outgrown your childhood ADHD. If it calms you down, go to a Dr. and ask for some. Depending upon which state that you live in- (DEA is stricter in some states) you might get it legally. It is a schedule 2 drug. If you have health insurance, a psychiatrist would be your best bet.

Well, you COULD go to a doctor and ask for a prescription.
Ritalin is used in the treatment of adults with ADHD as well as children I believe.
And it's legal to do! (yay :))
