How do people motivate themselves, avoid procrastinating etc...?
Question:
Answers:
I think you have to want to be motivated instead of procrastinating all the time, some people are just in such a rut they can't seem to be able to see the point of motivation at all, but a good nights sleep is a start, always shower and dress as soon as you get out of bed, go straight into the kitchen and make a drink for yourself and a bowl of cereal or toast would suffice too, start doing things straight away like popping the washing in or doing last night washing up, just keeping yourself active is a good start to build your motivational skills up again, write a list of all the things you would love to do and try to do something towards one of the items on the list everyday, allow yourself certain times in the day to have some me time but also make yourself get going again to stop the procrastination setting in.

A good nights sleep is a good start...!
for me, i'm motivated by both love and hatred.
when u know that someone cares for u, i'll work extra hard and have the low tendency to give up. u might even be extremely enthusiatic in what you are doing.
however, when u know that someone hate u, u'll do your best to outdo that person. that would strive u to improve.(providing that u think positively)
I fill up my schedule so completely that if I procrastinate, I will not be able to finish everything. This also has the added benefit of me making the most of myself.
i'll tell you later ok?
1. Think about why you procrastinate: Are you afraid of failing at the task? Are you a perfectionist and only willing to begin working after every little element is in place? Are you easily distracted?
2. Break up a large, difficult project into several smaller pieces. Tackle each piece separately.
3. Set deadlines for completion. Try assigning yourself small-scale deadlines ' for example, commit to reading a certain number of pages in the next hour.
4. Work in small blocks of time instead of in long stretches. Try studying in one- to two-hour spurts, allowing yourself a small break after each stint.
5. Start with the easiest aspect of a large, complex project. For example, if you're writing an academic paper and find that the introduction is turning out to be hard to write, start writing the paper's body instead.
6. Enlist others to help. Make a bet with your family, friends or co-workers that you will finish a particular project by a specified time, or find other ways to make yourself accountable.
7. Eliminate distractions or move to a place where you can concentrate. Turn off the television, the phone ringer, the radio and anything else that might keep you from your task.
Tips:
Remember that progress, not perfection, is your goal.
Track your goals on a calendar or in a personal organizer. Keep your goals reasonable and check off each one when you are finished.
Stop thinking about things and just DO THEM, then they'll go away and stop troubling you!
good night sleep and just putting there mind to it
Figure it out tomorrow!
Sorry, I am guilty of this to the point of driving my self nuts!
I shall be following this closely, someone out there must have the answer. To clean the house, I KID myself that there is a visitor due shortly, and seem to get through it all the way and thoroughly.
Guess it works something like that? Good luck!
