im sorry for your frustration but you must continue the meds if you feel bad go to a second dr for a second opinion !! Talk to your doctor. The Depakote can create hormonal and enzyme changes that can affect your energy levels. Also, have your thyroid checked out;

Good luck

I'm Tri-polar.hahahahahahahahahh. Take your pills and wait a few minutes, you'll be manic any minute.

what can we do to make you better? Nothing. If nothing is working, maybe you aren't bipolar, get a second opinion. See another doctor. And good luck.

drugs are good to control the symptoms of being bipolar but vitamins (especially BComplex,Flax seed Oil, and Iron) should help you with your tiredness. If not try asking your doctor about thyroid test and diabetes.. I hope that you feel better soon. Oh yeah take a walk even if its only around the block fresh air works too.

So what is your question? So, you are tired and if those are all the medications you are on.you ought to be. As I see it, perhaps you need a second opinion on the number of medications that you are on.Geeeeeze! the meds can make you feel tired but dont forget how you felt before you took them- talk to your doctor and ask him what can be done. You might be in the low period of your bipolar and need an anti-depressant to "perk up."

the mdication your on will make you tired until your body adjusts to your medication but if you continue to feel tired tired tired you need to mention this to your doctor

I know from personal experience that Klonipin can make you feel tired and together with seroquel it is no wonder you are tired. Ask your dr. to maybe lower the dosage of those two meds and I bet your energy level will rise.I haven't taken paxil or depakote but I have been on seroqul and klonipin and I know how you feel. Good Luck!!

I am bipolar too! Talk to your Dr. about your meds and how they make you feel! Soon! I took Seroquel,did not like the effects of it! I take Effexor Rx and love it for energy and mood control! Also,have Dr. do a thyroid scan,it affects your hormones which in turn affects your bipolar! You might be taking too many meds also! You need a mood stabilizer and an antidepressant! Why are you on so. many meds? Has your Dr,explained and do you understand?! Also,you need a support group,e-mail me 4 more help @ don46ruth60@yahoo.com & we can talk. Depression can make you tired which is part of bipolar,stressors in your life can add to it all! Meds do not continuously work forever,they need to be changed for a lot of reasons:they no longer work,your age(menopause affects bipolar) how many stressors,etc. don't give up!! Talk! Talk! Talk! Ignorance is not understanding as we have seen in this world and those around us! Bipolar is a SERIOUS DISEASE that affects MEN and women!! So,I hope that others that read this will acknowledge the fact that inane remarks are not needed,that they can do harmful damage to those of us that suffer from this DISEASE!
