why are my my nightmares so odd...................?

Question:

okay, my nightmares often involve things that i wouldnt find scary in my life, but in the nightmares, they scare me.

like recently, i had a nightmare that changed the setting every 20 or 30 seconds, and it was all weird stuff, like a green cartoony witch, a random bald guy, and even tin-tin.

another nightmare i had, was where this guy was trying to kill me, and there was a cows carcass above my bed, and it was hung up with metal rods, the legs and head had been cut off cleanly, and i all i had to defend myself were these big butter knives.

one i had the other nightm, involved a big spider, but its body looked like a human brain

People can't help what they dream, i mean, dreams just pop into you're head so randomly and you don't even have to be thinking of the thing you're dreaming of before you go to sleep to dream it. You could be thinking of something like that in you're sub-concious mind and though you don't know you are, it's still there in you're mind. So i wouldn't worry about it too much, everyone has dreams that scare them and some more than others. Think of something positive before you go to sleep and never go to bed when you're scared, sad or angry because that's sometimes why we get really scary dreams.
