why do i look like a mutant?

You shouldn't think like that! You need self-esteem. Concentrate on all the positive things about yourself.

Mainly because you lack self confidence!

Your a bit depressed because the girls arent noticing you and you badly want them to do so.

Your best "buds" are getting the girls, as they have more confidence and will go up and talk to them, while you, on the other hand, think its your looks and wont bother to even speak to a girl, let alone introduce yourself and ask one out for a date!.

When you get ready, and your confidence is built up, and you get over your shyness, then you will be ready to be a functioning member of Society.

Its at this point that I usually steer young people to Church! (yep, it helps more than you would ever know!).

People who are in Church welcome you and they uplift you and you "want" to be a part of them, as you grow with the LORD.

They will help you draw out of your shell, and they will not make "fun of you", because of this or that, they will open thier arms to welcome you in, and be a part of thier group! Its the best way for a shy person to overcome it, and be a wonderful member of Society again.

Sounds like body dismorphic disorder to me. Everybody gets it, but if you get it to an extreme it may be a sign of something esle, or may be a sign that you need to go to a counsellor.
