Answers:
you spelled "schizofrenia" wrong.it's schizophernia. And yes it can be treated. The sooner the better, the longer they wait, the harder it'll be for the doctors to cure the disease.

Other Answers:
they do have medicine for it, yes. my cousin has it as does a guy that used to like me. so i'm pretty aware of the disease. medicine does help.but keep her on the medicine.

It can be treated with varying degrees of success. You should consult with a qualified mental Health Practitioner. They can treat Schizofenia, Thesomania, Doughtoitis..they can do all that and people still don't know how to spell.

For most people, the symptoms of schizophrenia can be treated with various antipsychotics and outpatient (or sometimes inpatient) services (day program, residential services, case management, etc).
Hopefully, if your daughter has this problem, you are helping her get treatment.
However, I think we are still far away from finding a cure. Since the causes of schizophrenia are still unknown, current treatments focus on eliminating the symptoms of the disease.

Antipsychotic medications have been available since the mid-1950s. They effectively alleviate the positive symptoms of schizophrenia. While these drugs have greatly improved the lives of many patients, they do not cure schizophrenia.

Numerous studies have found that psychosocial treatments can help patients who are already stabilized on antipsychotic medication deal with certain aspects of schizophrenia, such as difficulty with communication, motivation, self-care, work, and establishing and maintaining relationships with others. Learning and using coping mechanisms to address these problems allows people with schizophrenia to attend school, work, and socialize.
