You've heard the saying if its not broke why try to fix it. Well I say it would be more productive for you to bring the subject up with your husband and see what he thinks. Let him know you are concerned he will need to deal with these issues some time and maybe now would be a good Idea. Although I know there are people that have been physically and sexually abuse that have never sought help from a doctor and they have lived their life fine. My mother for one, she just said it happened and thats it. She is a very kind hearted woman and is 80 now. So some people can handle it without any help from a therapist. Please seek help, I don't know where you are, but here we have The Texas Panhandle Mental Health, contact your local department of human resources, they should be able to help. if not get in the yellow pages and look under mental health, hope this helps.
