If you drink heavy on lithium everyday..will there be any side effect?

Question:

I don't feel anyting funny..just really bad hangovers and headaches....unfortunatley the lithium and antidepressants don't make me feel any better..after three months I started drinking again

Answers:
First of all, get help for the drinking!
Be aware that lithium can cause liver and thyroid problems, so adding alcohol to the mix cannot be good for you.
Go back to your prescribing doctor and discuss your problem...there are other options and/or combinations of drugs to help you!

The drinking is going to toast your liver and dissolve your brain cells. Good luck with that. Get to AA or a rehab center.
