How many of you are on drugs/SSRI's?
Question:
Answers:
I've been on Zoloft for about 5 years.. on and off.. There were side effects to begin with - but only minor ones and they subsided quickly (approx. 2 weeks) The side effects never affected my day to day functioning though..
Zoloft has been a lifesaver for me..
Different meds affect different people differently thought - theer are some common effects... but it varies so much, and there are so many meds to try just within the SSRIs.. So never give up if one doesn't cut it for you, keep trying and you'll find the one!

I'm on Lexapro and Trazodone, both are SSRI's. The Trazodone makes me extremely drowsy so I take it at night. I have a little trouble waking up in the mornings but once I get moving I'm fine. The Lexapro doesn't make me sleepy at all, which is why they added the Trazodone...to help me sleep.
The only side effect I have other than the drowsiness is some dizziness if I move to quickly.
Lexapro...actually anything is possible when it comes to side-effects instead of feeling sleepy (a common side effect) I became wide awake. Its all about how your body reacts to the medication so there really is no right or wrong answer
I take Cymbalta (which is activating) during the day and Trazadone at night (to help me sleep). I have been on TONS of medications and this combo is working the best for me. Good luck!
i take fluoxetine. it took a month for the side effects to diminish but now everything is fine.
Lexapro for me too
