There's tons of books on how to increase your memory capacity. Also working on stuff like crossword puzzles, and keeping an active mind helps a ton.
Practice. There are several books available on improving memory. They would be available on amazon.com.
Become an elephant.
Train my friend. Start with a small list of 5 things in the morning. Then try to recall them at the end of the day. In about a week with different things you should improve. Then increase the ammount of objects and read but practice!
