You are paying him for his services. I used to have a T-shirt and sweatshirt that I would wear in this one doctors' office. It said leave your ego outside the door. I have been sick alot in my life and I will tell you this, there is no call for any doctor to ever talk to you like this. Why Doctors think they are God's I don't know!
This is a service, just like going to a store and buying something or going out to dinner, they are there to do you a service and you are paying them, you don't need to take anything from any of them. I have to go to see a doctor once a week I have really bad arthritis. When they asked me which doctor do you want to see in the practice I said I would like to interview them to see whom I would most like to work with and understand me with my problems. They had no problem with me doing this out of 10 doctors only one had an attitude about it. Guess what six months later he was no longer with the group. So would I have been ticked off. I would of told him a thing or two and reported him to the Medical Board.

I have met docs like that- usually they are nasty to their staff and can't get the best nurses to assist them in opearations at the hospitals either due to their "I AM GOD" attitude. Also no good docs will refer patients to them or vice-versa. I avoid them like the plague.
Unfortunately this is called "free speech" believe it or not. that is mild compared to this Dr. in NH i dont remember his name but he was in the news because the licensing board was thinking bout revoking his license then changed their minds. believe he said to an obese lady that if her husband died the only man she could get would be a black man because she is so big and another patient who had a brain tumor he told her she needed to buy a shot gun and kill herself. now i dont know if these were actually said but they were complaints against him so dont feel to bad it happens
Why is it that we go to a doctor to find out what is wrong with us because with his education he knows and then we won' shut up long enough for them to take care of us. I know we have to tell them some things but the time come in the visit that we need to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth. Figure it out
