Probably you'll be fine! I knew a 50 year old man and a 30 year old female who lost 100 lbs each over the course of a year and they looked fine. They didn't try to lose it all at once and did walking every day to keep the body tone.

In general, light weight woman are recommended to get 1500 calories a day. I would recommend eating at least 800 healthy calories a day (not pepsi and donuts) if your going to diet.

If you take celebrities as a role model: Most of them are seriously underweight and suffer from eating disorders - though they won't tell in public + they invest a lot of their money in plastic surgery etc. Eating disorders come quickly and if you develop them at the age of 16 they might stay for a lifetime. I can tell this from my own experience.
If you lose weight too fast you will in any case get stretch marks - so please take it slowly. And go see a doctor - s/he will tell if you have to lose weight, how much and how to do it reasonable and healthy.
