Question for anyone who has taken or is taking zoloft?

Question:
I've been on zoloft for about a year now, and I love it, however since i started taking it, i get these really intense dizzy spells totally out of the blue, about once a week. I told my doctor and she said that it was happening because i'm late taking my doses, but i'm not, i take it at the same time everyday. So, i'm wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen to them.

Answers:
I've been on Zoloft for about 8 years now and have been very happy with it. I do have minor dizzy spells, but it hasn't become a problem. Have they increased your dose recently? That could be one cause. Also, I think I experienced more dizziness at higher doses. Be very careful not to accidently take two doses - I did that once and had major dizziness. It's probably just a side effect that particularly affects you - but let the doctor know if it gets worse.
I was only on zoloft for a few months and I had to stop taking it because it increased my panic attacks, gave me nausea, and muscle cramps. Not everyone can take the same medication, if your doctor is not cooperating with you maybe you should find another one.
