Am I anxious?

Question:
I'm supposed to be working now, but I'm surfing the net and just wasting my time. I know I've already past my deadlines to complete my work, but instead of working, I'm trying to find another geniune excuse! I like my work and I want to do it, but I can't just get to start working. Even if I do, I wont be able to concentrate and would end up messing things up. My concentration just doesnt work. If I'm reading something, I just can't understand its meaning unless I read it twice or thrice. I m like this for years now, but its just getting worse, worse and worse!! Can anybody help me to know what''s going on with me?

Answers:
Don't hear him and leave your job keep it until you find another.
My suggestion for you is to indulge with office people who does works . Other wise you go to your friends and compinely you can study and read and chat whatever then your interest will come back i am sure . Then understand the importance of work without it we cant survive . So fell yourself professional . Say within you that "I am here For work not for chat". Write it in paint and keep it as back ground it will remind you every time. Write this somewhere else to read it when you need . UNDERSTAND "NO JOB NO MONEY-NO MONEY NO LIFE"

I AM SURE YOU'LL BE BETTER.GOD BLESS YOU.

Dude I'm in the same boat. I am actually leaving my job in a couple weeks because I found something more challenging. I'm tired of feeling bad about not doing any work all day because my job sucks so bad. Hence I'm on this.
Talk to your doctor about getting evaluated for ADHD, there are plenty of adults that have it and there are other ways to deal with it besides meds
Hmm it could be ADHD but it also could be something as simple as procastination. Procastination effects tons of people, even me. I always try to avoid doing work beccause I find something else "more fun" or "more interesting". The best way to deal with it would be to put yourself in the worst-case scenerio. Like "if I don't do my work, I'll get fired." And when you start your work, take small breaks, but make sure you go back to your work.

If you really feel this is a major prblem though and everything you try won't work, I would suggest going to a doctor. Don't worry, they won't stick needles in your brain or anything. They would probably recommend going to some physciatrist or something. It's better to proabably treat it now, rather then wait for it to get worse and worse.

Now stop reading this and get back to work!
Whether it's anxiety or procrastination or ADD, try meditating once a day for fifteen minutes. You'd be surprised at how focused and calm it will make you feel.
