Life is not suffering! comments please?

Question:
Life is not suffering, suffering is resistance to what "is" and being arrogant that one knows better than providence's universal plan for us.One could say life is pain, and pain is not letting go of change and moving with the transition of what "is". The sooner we can learn to be ok with "what is" instead of trying to change it to be "another way" (control) life works perfectly if we let it. When we take a position we want to control it to be another way, we validate the opposite position that we don't have control, otherwise we wouldn't be taking that postion that we want it! The question is, what are we going to do with this control when we get it? Nothing, except become righteouss about our way or how wrong they are and destroy relationship. So! do you want to be right or do you want to be close? We cause our own suffering and the world will never run your way so intergrate with the way it is! Do what works and you get what works! and we complicate it, especially when were in denial.

Answers:
i agree !
life can become suffering if we have our own expectations.. we want things to be what we want.. we don't want things to be what we don't like..
if we can just receive things as they are.. and live life as it is.. life is not suffering.

Other Answers:
um,okay whatever u say.

Sounds like you're caught up in your own personal battles.
Not every one has the same inner struggles that you've described.

Suffering? What's that? Oh yeah! One of my headaches, a paper cut, or trying to get out from under the equipment at work after cleaning it, 'cause I'm getting old.

Detachment is the way to go. I work, I'm into my art in various forms, and that's it. Though I take good care of the cats, I know they aren't forever in this realm, and I let go if I lose one. I'll see it later after I'm 'dead', perhaps. Remember we are in the world, and not of it; as the bible says. Don't have anything vested in anything.
