hi there if you have a neighbourhood centre or community centre in your area they normally have psychiatrists there that are either really cheap or free.

I am sorry you don't say where you are? But possibly calling United Way or a crisis line localy they maybe able to help you better.

Lots of people use this place on Yahoo as a cut price therapy session.some people make sense when they address a problem and might help you think about things ..from their objective points of view..others well you can ignore them.

The NHS does psychiatric treatment. Ask you doctor about it.
In the UK doctors will only put a patient forward for therapy if the patient asks for help.. unless of course you are completely nuts, then they have you sectioned.

Go to Al Anon and say you have an alchohilic in the family (lets face it, counting uncles and aunts who doesn't) and get a buddie. This person is specially trained and in actual fact gives something similar to psychotherapy. After a couple of years you may feel it is wise to pay a real psychotherapist for a while to do what teh buddie has not managed to do. Godd luck!
