Why is being antisocial a disorder but being social is not?
Question:
Answers:
What a great question! In fact, I think sometimes the ones being social might be the ones with the disorder! Half the time they're out and about cos that way they don't have to deal with their issues or look at themselves. I used to feel guilty and worry about not being "normal" because I like my own company, I enjoy solitude and I don't want to go out every single time someone asks. I'm with you and I say there's something wrong with the dingbats who make such a big issue out of it.
Other Answers:
actually antisocial being defined in the psychology textbook defines it as being (an antisocial person) someone who goes against the laws of society and do not usually know the difference between right and wrong. so if you are an introverted person then that does not necessarily mean you are an antisocial personality.
