what is the impact of exercise on a person with Bipolar 2 disorder?
Question:
Can exercise bring down the symptoms of Bipolar 2 disorder?
Answers:
I have BPII, like you. My doc has been telling me for years to exerise regularly. When I do exercise I feel better, even if temporarily. If I'm a little down, 30 min on a stationary bike does wonders. I don't know from experience the long term effect, I can't stick to anything.
Other Answers:
I have recently done a great deal of research on Bipolar Disorders. I did not come across any information relating exercising to reduction of symptoms. Sorry. Good luck!
Bipolar dysfunction doesn't need top speed. In fact going slowly is best. But the body needs to exercise or in a long time you will get real sick from not moving.
exercise may not help u out. it may be due to hormonal imbalance or some lacuna in the brain itself.
the best remedy is to purchase an acupressure kit and activate all internal organs including endocrine glands[ductless hormonal glands, like, ;thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, gondads, pancreas, thymus, pituitary etc]
for any other problems, u may have to report further for suggesting medicines from alternative systems of medicines..
