prozac help...?

Question: Is prozac 20 mg once a day for depression or anxiety? or would it help both at the same time if you have both??

From my prospective in using this drug it depends on the person. You are on a low dose you are on maybe your Dr could increase the med if it is not helping.Depending on your diagnosis as I'm not sure what that is, ask your Dr. He will help you learn about the different meds and what there counter actions, reaction as every ones body is different and your reaction my not be the same as someone else.This will help your Dr give you the right one.However you may need an additional drug such as Celexa, Lexapro, Luvox,Paxil and Zoloft. ... Just be upfront with your Dr on how you are feeling and he will help you accordingly. Good Luck....

its for depression but will calm your anxiety down too :o) prozac is good, it really helped me.
