I really dont feel safe in a taxi with only myself and my son!!?

Question: The last time i ever caught a taxi by myself was when i went off to my mothers,due to domestics between me and my bf,i felt depressed at the time and the taxi driver was a little concerned and asked me questions,so i answered him,at the time i was depressed i just told him how my bf was verbally abusing me.So he said to me....hey if you ever need a job just ring me up....We have mothers of your age who are in the same situation and struggle in life single mothers financially,he gave me his card and told me well all you do basically is massage oldmen and whatever they do is up to them..........He stated in a rude way if he touches you.......then just tell him your uncomfortable about it......that minute of thoughts made me think this was a sexual job.He told me the prices he said you get $50 bucks a day.Then i just got scared and said ok ill be willing to do it.He said ill ring you up tomorrow.Youll be here right?i said ok,but i wasnt sure,cause i didnt want anything to happen to me.

OK, I'm concerned because you have a child and you think your boyfriend loves you even though he verbally abuses you...?! Secondly, don't start crapping on to a strange man in a taxi about your problems - this makes you seem vulnerable and your putting yourself in potential danger!!! In future just be polite and tell the driver where you need to go and that's all! Also in the taxi have 911 dialled in your cell phone so that if anything happens you can just press the call button and the operator will hear everything that is going on. I'm not trying to tell you off, I just want you to know how to keep yourself safe especially as you have a child.
