Is it real?!?

Question: Is there any brain shrinks out there that can answer my question? or any regular folk too!! I DON'T DISCRIMINATE!! But anyway does anybody know if there is a name for the phobia water? but not just any water only water you have no control over i.e. water you can't see through or water that you dont' know what's in it? but not scared of bath water or swimming pools? please i need to know cause i have that phobia but i can't find any info on it!!

I have the same phobia but I don't exactly know what it's called, your throat tightens up and your heart pounds really loud and hard!! I was out in the Mississippi Sound on our boat with my husband and we stopped on a sand bar to fish and the boat drifted off the sand bar , about 10 yards away and my husband swam out to it and told me I had to swim out too and I just couldn't it took him 1/2 an hour to finally get me the tow rope so that I could pull the boat back over to the sandbar, we couldn't just crank the boat either we were near a wreck ( a submerged boat)! I think that was the closest his ever come to wanting to kill me but I couldn't do it I was paralyzed! By the way there was a sharp drop off at the edge of the sand bar and I know there are sharks in that area because we've caught them there so that added to my terror!
