I love the rain. I see it as a cleaning influence. Washing away sadness.
Sunshine's said to liberate happy hormons in people, that may be a reason. Personally, I don't really care if it rains or not.
I love the rain. I like winter far more than summer. In summer I get too hot and sweaty and insects attack me and its horrible! In winter you put on a coat and everything is fine!
When it rains, I feel happy.
It's all in how you look at it...some folks like rain, while some folks it just makes them blue...kind of like Christmas, you either love the merriment of hate it. Different strokes for different folks.
You should never let things like rain or sunshine affect your moods. You should be in control of your moods then you are a happy and balanced soul.
I love the rain when it comes down straight and heavy without wind. It is cool, refreshing and calming. If I am upset or in a bad mood it seems to lift me completely and I cannot maintain my sadness. It is especially great to go walking along the beach in the rain with the one you love.
Its called sad, or seasonal affective disorder.
Its something to do with the amount of light you are in contact with
no, it makes me feel hyper! i am real hyper when a thunder storm comes...wait if you ever saw during a tornado then you would be freaked of how hyper i was.
It doesn;t for me.
The earth we live on is being nourished! It was fun as a child to splash around in puddles and I just remember that and it makes me smile.
Don't get me wrong the sunshine makes me happy as well!
Its importnat not to let things outside of your control make you feel that way. You can get control over your emotions by turning a rainy day into a positive. All the wonderful food we eat grows because of rain. All of natures wonderful sights are there because of rain.I could go on and on....
I only hate it when it rains constantly

When I feel sad it generally starts to rain. But then I don't feel bad when it rains becasue it is so relaxing and enchanting. I love rain and thunderstorms. It relaxes me. Which eases any tension or pain. When i'm through playing, i cuddle up under a blanket and go to sleep. No sadness involved.
i know if feel sad when it rains. i feel like i could just curl up in a corner and do nothing.

I think its because I suffer with that S.A.D. but summer rain is cool
Do I? I' actually enjoy rainy weather. Did you ever try playing with your niece/nephew/child in the rain? Splashing about in the puddles. Try it. It is FUN!
I usually feel more sleepy. But I guess the sluggesh feeling could make me grumpy or mopey.
I like the rain. I Like to walk and talk with a friend in the rain. Sometimes it stops me from doing my laundry. (no point in hanging it out to get wetter!) so I can stay in and read without feeling guilty!
Psychiatrists would like us to believe it's a mental disorder - Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD for short, because some people feel gloomy when it rains. Personally I think they've got their eye on the amount of money they can make from inventing a new disorder. (It's like the story of the Emperor's New Clothes - you see it because you believe it!) Will they invent a new disorder for the disgust people feel when they step into dog poo? Don't laugh, it's no sillier than most of their pronouncements!
yes...coz when it rains all i can remember is my sad memories~!=(
There is a physical reason: usually before rain there is a drop in barometric pressure (atmospheric pressure) which causes animals, and it's theorized people too, to slow down. Most everyone has seen cows laying down in a field before a storm. Some people react to the 'slow down' as feeling down.
Physically sunshine, in a complicated physical hormonal cascade, helps us to be happy by causing the brain to release happy hormones - serotonin among them. It's very similar to the hormonal changes some people affected by SAD (seasonal affective disorder) experience.
Some people are affected by chagnes in light or the environment and some aren't --- emotions are very personal.
Anyone who poo-poos psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals who help people feel better, do a disservice to the people they help.
yes and no yes when its been too hot but no in winter when it all gloomy and depressing
As some one else has said you may have s.a.d. It is a form of depression that changes with the weather, or the amount of sunlight you get. Do you feel sad in winter? or when the time changes and it gets dark early? The sun acts as a serritonin builder. People with depression or s.a.d. have a lower amount of serrtonin in their brain. Just being out in the sun can help. Mine gets worse in the winter months. My Dr. ordered a perscription lamp that I sit under for about half an hour a day. Makes all the difference in the world! Just try to get out on sunny days even if its for a few minutes.
Its gloomy and has a negative effect on your mood. I just feel like curling up on the sofa and watching an old movie.
