What game is my bf playing?

Question:
I ask for something, he says no, then he does it. Examples:
1- I ask for 1 DVD, he says no.. then he goes and buys me the entire set.

2- I ask him to teach me to drive, he says NO, then he drives me to an empty lot to practice

3- I ask him if we could make xyz for dinner, he says NO he wants 123.. then he comes back with xyz.

4 -He tells me he wants me to help him clean.. I say no.. but then I finally say whatever and I offer to help.. then he says forget it he doesn't want me to help it's cool..

I think that reverse psychology is what makes this guy tick or something! He seems to only want to do things for me once I no longer want them. What a PSYCHO?!

Answers:
1 to 3 case: Male ego + love = No first & yes later. (normal practice in guys).

4 case: Male ego + your denial = super duper male ego - your re-considering = final denial, big NO

Remember some guys are harsh in words but good at heart.

Other Answers:
Have you asked him what's up?

may be he just want to surprise you. if it bothers you then talk to him, sounds like a lack of communication/understanding

but it seems you're getting your own way, I don't see why you're complaining

He is probably testing you or something. He doesn't want to feel like he is whipped, so he does it on his own terms.

Ok, he sounds like he is either a jerk or a joker.. either one can be bad. You should talk to him and if he continues it after you tell him to stop.. you have to end it. It sounds like he is trying to get on your nerves. and you owe it to your self to end it.

Maybe he has a history of being with someone who made sure they always got what they wanted. If so, he may be finding out from you what you want and denying it to see if you will react in such a way as to indicate your insistance that you get what you want. When you don't react in such a way, he gives you what you want.
