I've had people tell me I seem shy, but i'm just not interested, I get bored easily, how can I overcome this?

Question:
I would say I get bored easily, and that this is mistaken for shyness. I'm just not interested in small talk, etc. I always like to get to the point, I would say i'm very blunt. But I want to genuinely BE interested! I want to come up with stupid things to say that I find interesting! Help me!

I remember when I was on adderall a while back, everything was interesting, but it was a little too much.. to the point of annoying people. Now that I'm off that, I do try to talk and get to know someone, I usually face my fears.. I could walk up to someone and just start talking if I wanted to. I feel like there's something missing?

Why is it these insecurities are the only thing I find comfortable to talk about, who wants to talk about that? How boring!! Help!!

Answers:
Try to share with interesting people, people who can give you some knowledge about something, not with swallow people, next you will star to share information with them
And try not to think so much, just do it
GOOD LUCK¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

Think of stuff you like and start talking about it.
i get the same thing.. .what i do is i just call my friends up and start chatting on somehting THEIR interested in, at soem point i will laugh or the conversation will go to something i am interested. For example: my friend Alex likes fall out boy.

Ring RIng
"Hello?"
"Hi Alex, it's me meghan, did you hear about that new fall out boy hoodie? I think you'll like it?.."
~~~***~~~
"Meghan come on, go to my FOB puzzle, please!!"
"Fine. ~x("
~~~***~~~
