Why do the voices in my head at night come to me, and talk, then they fade and die.

sounds like you are experiencing auditory hallucinations.....This could be related to schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, drug use, or other conditions. You should talk with your doctor. There is medication which can decrease these voices....
They don't come to you to die. They come to you to live, pass on the message, if you can hear it clearly.
Hopefully they say positive things that make sense.
They want to be heard, you hear them, their drive is gone... no worries.
Do you see a therapist? If so this is something you should really discuss with her because it is concerning that you are hearing voices. This really isn't normal. I am not trying to disrespect you I just want to tell you that I do see a therapist in your future if you don't have one now because some people believe it's normal but honey it's far from normal.

Words or voices , if you can make it in words , write them . Have paper and pen next to bed.
Some times it is a tune , experiment with music to develop the sound.
There are voice activated tape recorders talk back to them.
I was dumb to think I could learn Spanish by listening to a record
in my sleep. I have done math in my sleep.
As a child and plague with earache I learn self hynozis, by telling my self over and over it didn't hurt until I would fall asleep.
Now if i hurt I just want to go to sleep and then it goes away.
So I wouldn't worry it might even be a radio with the timer gone bad.
Talk to a doctor about this. If they voices are saying something in particular to do, then talk to a Baptist minister too. Both of them are able to provide insight on this subject.
Yes! Drug use can do this. Get off them and you will stop hearing voices. If you don't go to the doctor and tell him what is going on. Good luck! hugs! Von!
