probably because of the pain and the length of time it takes to go to the bathroom not to mention the inconvience

Most likely it's not the diarrhea, it's whatever gave them diarrhea that's causing the moodiness. Stomach cramps and food poisoning don't tend to bring out a person's sunny side. : D

lets see.. pms'ing causes it too.. that's cuz something down below is HURTING and makes up moody. and your body is being flushed out, making you feel like poo and moodier. and your sick.. more pooy feeling, hense moodier. see the chain of events?

Geez, here I thought everybody, not just women, were moody after having one of those lovely episodes!
