The process for getting over a phobia of any kind is called systematic desensitization. Basically it is facing your fears. Start slowly. Here is a list of steps you might try:
1. look at dead bugs in sealed plastic cases.
2. look at live bugs in sealed containers (ant farms, bee hives)
3. look at live bugs across the room.
4. keep trying to get closer to the bugs(5', 4', 3'...)
5. Kill the live bug
6. touch a dead bug
7. touch a live bug
8. let a bug crawl onto you and try not to brush it off.
That is the basic idea. Become comfortable with each step before moving on to the next one. You may never get past step 5, but that's OK. That's really as far as you need to go.
