There are many sites on the web dealing with famous persons with mental illness. Many were very successful, smart and talented. About 5.

But you don;t have to be crazy to be famous and

YOu don;t have to be crazy to be great. either.

Most people go crazy because of nutritional problems like chemical poisons, metal in their blood and other stuff.

Let's not forget Axl Rose!

Then there is Maurice Bernard (Sonny) of General Hospital fame! He is Bi-Polar in real life and now the writers of the soap are giving Sonny Bi-Polar disorder as well. What an excellent actor he is to pull that off!

Mental illness doesn't mean in any way that a person is not extremely intelligent and more times than not, they are very creative as well! It's just like diabetes, or any other disease, but affects the brain rather than other areas of the body!
