Are women more prone to depression then men ?

Question:

Answers:
From a statistical view, 60% of the depressed are women and the debate has always been whether it's in women's physiology or in how society treats them.

I doubt the answer is one or the other but the point is to get better by getting your needs met, whatever they may be. Only you will know, I hope you know, what your needs are to be happy (if you are unhappy) and must go on to do what's necessary to put more smiles than frowns on your face.

Other Answers:
Yes because we have higher hormone levels which make us feel as if our emotions are constantly going up and down, and up and down..sad but true..:(

More hormone changes, like every 28 days. if you know what I mean. Biologically speaking, no.

Sociological:yes.

Simply because women are still primarily the child care providers and such like that and we are now fully involved in the work force. It's called a double-shift. :) So stress leads to depression.
