It really is scary to me the way psychiatrists prescribe meds today. I get on different forums for bipolar and it's unbelievable. I'm bipolar (still prefer to be called manic-depressive) and I'm a former mental health professional. In my day, they weren't even allowed to prescribe like that. You don't know what side effects to attribute to which med and drug interactions..
I'm stable with nothing but Clonidine- which is an atypical medication primarily prescribed for blood pressure. It was an accident we found it was working. And yet, no one thinks to prescribe it for mood- and I don't know why.
I do have ADHD stuff that drives me crazy and only recently realized that's what it is as it's stuff that bothered me since I was a small child.
Another thing- have you ever had any therapy to see if there's something you could do about the anxiety and panic attacks? i.e. uncover the cause of them, or learn tools to cope. Recovery, Inc. support group would work great for you, I bet. See if there's one in your area. If your moods are triggered by events in your life, therapy can help there, too. Your diagnosis isn't even clear as you can't be paranoid schizophrenic and bipolar. A lot of bipolar's get paranoid when manic- I always did.

currently im on lamictal 100 mg 2x daily, lexapro 20mg 1x daily, seroquel 500mg 1x daily, Abilify 5mg 1x daily and klonopin (not sure how many mg).schizoaffective..works for me

I have Effexor 300 mg and Wellbutrin 300.

I was on Effexorxr 150mg twice a day,xanax 1mg 5 times a day seroquel 500mg. once a day respidal2mg once a day and remeron 90 mg twice a day. klonipin 1mg 3 times a day. Took myself off the xanax,effexorxr,lost my mind literally Diagnosed as schizoaffective. Know I am on nothing nada zero!! It was rough but I did it.No relapse so far,8months and counting
