My son got gum in his hair.?

Question:
So I cut the hunk out and used all the extra free pieces of hair that came out when I cut it. I then tried to super glue them back in to the whole that I cut out but they keep falling out. Any advice?

Answers:
You tried supergluing hair to a kids head? Are you crazy?!!?

Basically hun, you have to leave it to grow back. I feel sorry for your son as he is really going to have the mick taken out of him.

Other Answers:
shave his head

Next time use peanut butter to remove the gum.

And go get a haircut to make it look even - it will all grow back in a couple of weeks why look silly until then?.

Rub the gum with an ice cube then remove it. Take him to a barber and the next time he gets gum in his hair use peanut butter. It softens it up where you can get it out without having to botch his head up.

NO MORE SUPERGLUE!! You should have used ice to get the gum out. If that doesn't work use peanut butter. The oil in peanut butter will help release the gum, but ice wil freeze it and you can break it out. Superglue will not work and you may end up having to cut it out of his hair also.

Its impossible to superglue hair back. You should give him a haircut to hide the bald spot. Next time use peanut butter, mayonnaise, ice, or baby oil to get the gum out of his hair.

i have 4 children and trust me it has happened to me more than once the other things may work call me crazy , but i have used wd-40 ,you spray the gum and it dissolves you then wash it out amazing. but once you cut the hair you can't put it back especially with superglue the hair is dead and now you have really no choice but to cut it . next time try asking the question before you react.
