stressed out over court?

I have a good life now,got a high paid job and even a bf...but this monday 9/10/06 i have court for driving with out a license...the person who owned the car said they were sik...now im scared im going to jail,i only got the summons on thursday so i cant get a lawyer.....wat do i do...im stressed out my parents dont no n i dont want to tell them....does n e 1 no if u can go 2 jail 4 a lil thing like that....if i do i'll lose my bf, n most importantly my job.....

Don't worry about it! My ex got caught driving my car without a license. She was just like you, scare to death of ending up on jail. However that day we just showed up to court, since we couldn't afford a lawyer and really didn't want to fight it, she was going to declare guilty. She didn't even speak a word, the judge just looked at her case and saw that it was a first time offense and just threw her file into the trash. We didn't know what to do until the judge told us that we were free to leave.
So don't worry about it! Chances are the same thing can happen to you. If it doesn't get thrown out, then you will just be assesed a fine. Then just ask the judge if you could make payments. So relax, but just remember to show up, if not then you could go to jail.

i doubt it for first offense you would most likely get a fine or community service.

now if you didnt have permission from the car's owner, you could be in big trouble...

and i hope you mean 10/9/06 because 9/10/06 was september 10th....

I doubt jail. Don't sweat it.
