No one can call you weird or dumb - I was 16 and still sucking my thumb however, I realize now that there was something lacking in my life for me to have this fixation past the normal age of this dependency. I would suggest that you replace the teddy and find a good friend to talk with. Teddy does not talk back, Teddy does not judge you, Teddy is your friend, but you need to step into a little more of life's reality so you can deal honestly with issues and have the maturity to handle them. Well, I hope something don't posses that teddy and start talking to you..lol.. I remembered this child he went screaming to his mom because he said that his teddy talk to him back and told him to jump down the window. This is no joke, but demons can poses most things if you give them a reason for it.

Seriously, you seem lonely and troubled and depressed, which is a crappy way to feel at 16. The cutting stuff really bothers me. Can you talk to your parents? I know it may seem like they don't understand you, but they love you and want what's best for you. A bunch of strangers on the internet can't really help solve your problems. You are not alone in how you are feeling, but you have to find some help in the real world. Please reach out to someone who can help you! Teddy may be a good listener, but you you need a human being for this one!

So you talk to your teddy you could be doing a lot worse things than that. The teddy don't talk back and don't smart off to you like people do. No you are not weird or dumb. Lots of people talk to things and even none existent people. For instance, people talk to "God" every day even though they can not see, hear or touch him. At least what you are talking to is real.

of course ur not weird! u talk to ur teddy coz u think noone else cares enough to hear u out. just remember, teddy might be a pretty talented listener, but he has a little trouble speaking. u know? there is another solution to ur lonliness, though: gimme ur number and i'll call u. i won't take teddy's place, but i can try to be a better friend.
