why do we tend to feel that God's plan for salvation has changed just because our faith has been tried?
Question:
the fruit of the spirit which is love,,joy, peace, longsuffering,. can all come out of trials and troublesome experiences we have while pursuing Christ. we are to be content in the fact that we have a
comforter in the spirit of god(Holy Spirit) even when we're in the midst of our most traumatic valleys.
Answers:
I quite agree with you, my friend. I try to remember to praise the Lord in the depths of my heart when I have troubles, because I know from the Scriptures that He uses those difficult times to strengthen and refine my faith by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Blessings to you!
Other Answers:
I don't think people believe the PLAN is what changes. They just readjust what they thought the plan was.
Sometimes when our faith is tested we are tempted to give up. That is human nature. But like you say God is there. He never leaves us but at times we stray away or doubt.
God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow
The plan never changed. My concept of God did. I taught sunday school for 20 years. When my husband pulled up the skirt of my friend and forced me to divorce him by treating me horridly for no reason so I would look like the bad guy..the church shunned me. Not all but a few he lied to. He is now the deacon of the church and I am "that woman that ran off with the net guy"
They the whore, (my friend from church) hid all OUR assets and left me in a paper box to fend.
I fell apart, turned to a friend on the net after the divorce, got involved with a wrong person and remarried.my fault not Gods.
But I prayed until my face hit the basement. I prayed until I wanted to die. God does allow you to have more than you can stand. He DOES give you more than you can handle. But he still is there.
He is not the bless me Jesus I taught in Sunday School. He is not the God I knew when I had the perfect family and thought if anyone had faith strong they too could have what I had.the perfect family, husband and church.
Until God has walked you through the fire, until you are purged like I have been please don't judge the world. You will find that many you thought would be in heaven will NOT be..and there will be some that you thought won't be in heaven..well they will be on the RIGHT side of my precios Savior and God. When I was hungry did you feed me? When I was naked did you give me cover? What soever you do to the least of these you do unto me.
God's plan for salvation is a product of the religious teachings. Doctrine makes up ten percent of what religion is. The ninety percent of a religious practice is what the group activities are both the public and the private ones. Each religious group has a percentage failure for some to adopt the group secret practices. There also is found much of insanity produced from the wrong expectations encouraged and even some deaths by suicide after the outcast has received the insult unto death.
I must admit that I am not a very religious person; however, I do think that it isn't God's plan that has changed or that we "feel that God's plan for salvation has changed", rather we change or opinion about God or our concept of God. I think this happens because we see God as being able to correct everything for us and to do it immediately and we forget that we have the power to change or situations ourselves and it is through our faith in God that we can get a better sense of direction as to how to go about solving our problems. Too many times we look for someone to blame, and when there is noone to blame, not even ourselves, the tendency is to blame God, to push him away, and to say that he hasn't helped us. I think its because people are looking for instant gratification and for quick answers. Sometimes the answers are not simple, but somehow keeping the faith in God seems to work better than pushing him away. I pushed God away at a time that I needed him most. I fell into the thinking I just described above, and my life just got more confusing and harder to deal with; it wasn't until I changed my thinking, my opinions, and concept of God, that I was finally able to put my faith in trust in him, and now my life is going much better again.
You cannot control the wind, you just have to adjust your sails. God does answer all prayers it is just that sometimes the answer is no and that is because he has a better idea. I found that I just need to stay out of the way so as not to mess things up. Finally you cannot tell how high the mountain is until you have been to the bottom of the valley.
God Bless
