loss of apetite?

Question:
Hi everyone. I was suffering with clinical depression do to delivering a still born baby. Things are doing really good lately and I feel Like I can smile and have fun again with no guilt. I am seeing a psychologist once a week and he is great. But one thing that has improved but is still not to where it should be is my appetite. I completley lost it when I was really depressed and I just don't know how to make it come all the way back. I am working with a dietician which is how I got this far. I see her weekly as well. Has anyone else had a major loss of appetite from depression that did eventually come back? How did this happen? just wondering if there is anything else I can do. Thanks everyone Have a great day

Answers:
The more you pay attention the more you notice it and the longer it takes to get back.

Other Answers:
To be completely honest a lot of people would suggest marijuana for loss of appetite, my mom and my grandma both have depression, but I've never heard of loss of appetite, sorry I don't know what else to say but keep working with your dietician.

Lack of appetite is, indeed, a symptom of depression. Keep in close contact with a physician, and make yourself eat anyways to avoid malnutrition
